Exuding a chemistry that shines through in their vocal and stage performance, the duo brings to life the familiar and forgotten musical giants that cast long shadows over American music. This couple have forged a distinct sound that embraces music history without ever sounding antiquated. With over 3+ hours of original material available along with a variety of great covers that they can perform, their sets are full of great harmonies, unique instrumentation and they can more than match the sound of a full band when called upon.
ADELA & JUDE perform all over the U.S. in clubs, gastropubs, coffee shops, festivals, house concerts, farmers markets, and private events alike. They use their duo status to travel far and fast and to match their music to any situation.
ADELA & JUDE have shared bills with such notable acts including; Neko Case, The Avett Brothers, Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin and The Handsome Family to name just a few.
Winners of their prestigious IMF music award for their commitment to American roots music by the legendary Club Passim in Cambridge Massachusetts, Adela & Jude are touring extensively in 2013 in support of new music from their upcoming debut record.
