“Days of Rain’s original sound is a unique blend of both classic rock and indie pop with just enough added folk to intrigue the most story-minded lyric-conscious listener. Days of Rain is fronted by Swedish-born singer/songwriter Anna Dihne. At age 14, Anna picked up her father’s guitar, taught herself how to play, and has been writing songs ever since. The anecdotal, storytelling influences of Jewel, Tori Amos and Anna Nalick are so clearly felt in her well-rounded autobiographical compositions and passionate, emotionally-truthful vocal style.

The band also performs a healthy varietal dose of true-to-life songs written by lead guitarist Paul Allegretta whose range of influence extends from the soulful blues and signature guitar stylings of Eric Clapton, Duane Allman and Warren Haynes to the rhythmic grooves of the improvisational jam-band scene.

The ever-present and palpable, distinct tightness of the rhythm section is a driving force within the band. With Peter Roberts’ wealth of experience and varied background, the bass-lines reminiscent of Paul McCartney, Jack Bruce, and Chris Squire weave throughout the performances as if they were a story themselves. With a variation of influences such as Neil Peart and Liberty Devitto, the percussive yet melodic approach of Christian Cea toward the drums is as dynamic a presence as a melody itself.”
