Formed in 2009 when guitarist and singer Richard Green suggested that this would be a great combination of players to bring together, Mister Funky Pants (a name bestowed on the band to unanimous support by guitarist/singer Pat Barnett-Mulligan) continues to bring it’s own inimitable mixture of musical styles to venues throughout Eastern New York and Western Massachusetts. With a diverse song list, decades of experience and a wicked sense of humor, “the Pants” imbibe both originals (as per their recently release album of 11 original tunes – “Belt and Suspenders”) and covers with great playing and great wit.
