Oakes & Smith perform an acoustic mix of folk and pop with voices blending in close harmonies. They sing soothing and soulful tunes inspired by nature, love, spirit, art and poetry. Influences include Simon & Garfunkel, The Swell Season, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens, Joan Baez. They are now celebrating the release of their debut album, First Flight.
